With three routes available, we’ve made sure there’s something to challenge you whatever your ability level.
- Epic 79 Miles
- Standard 50 Miles
- Short 28 Miles
It’s our last event of the season so we’re pulling out all the stops to end on a high.
Escape the city
Setting off from the village of Lingfield you will be out in the country before you know it. You’ll have seven miles to warm the legs up before you reach the first real steady climb of the day.
For Short route riders, you can relax in the knowledge that the hardest part is over. The route splits at Colemans Hatch and you’ll head North towards Edenbridge from here.
If you choose the Epic or Standard route, you’ll be heading straight into the steepest climb of the day as you make your way toward Royal Tunbridge Wells.
Shortly past Groombridge, the next split occurs. If you’re on the Standard route you’ll head north passing through the villages of Langton Green, Penshurst and Chiddingstone.
Epic riders – you’re in for a treat as you continue East into the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. A few short climbs along this section of the course might take you by surprise but think of them as little testers to get you warmed up for the final climb at Dunks Green. You’ll ascend steadily for several miles before peaking at Sevenoaks Common.
From here, you’ll roll back into Lingfield, meeting up with the standard riders en-route.
